welcome to Vijayanagar sri krishnadevaraya university Bellary,

Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Bellary (VSKUB) is a new public university established in 2010 by the Government of Karnataka at Bellary district through the Karnataka State Universities Act 2000. It has been named after Krishnadevaraya, former emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire.

VSKUB has jurisdiction of two districts: Bellary and Koppal. It has two post graduate campuses, the main campus Jnana Sagara is at Vinayaka Nagar, Bellary which is extensive and spread over about 100 acres, houses all the key administrative departments of the university as well as 14 post graduate departments. The second campus is located at Nandihalli in Sandur taluk of Bellary district.

Welcome to VSKUB. I'm pleased that you have taken time to visit us. As a young university VSKUB is embarking on a good deal of innovation in the domain of higher education. Having introduced  the Choice Based Credit System at the Post Graduate level of study, we are now providing an opportunity for Under Graduate Students to opt for a Certificate Course in Skill Development & Employability. I wish young students make the best use of these innovations.
